From jumping on guests to walking like a champ—our training turns good boys and girls into great ones.

Not only that, we are often recommended by local vets, and the reason is simple- our dog training is effective! Our training classes immerse your dog in real world scenarios to ensure that what we teach them can be applied anywhere. Additionally, we always give you formal lessons and the training tools that are needed to ensure your pups continued success.
We understand if you are still skeptical, so just give us a call and we will be happy to discuss our program further or get you on the schedule for a free training consultation!
We offer up 3 main training classes- the Jump Start Puppy, Day Training, and Board & Train.
The Jump Start Puppy, unsurprisingly, is our puppy program! We can start a pup as young as 8 weeks or so, and they can participate until they are 6 months old. This is a great way to get your puppy the basics it needs to grow into a well behaved dog. The course is divided into private sessions and full day lessons.
The Day Training course occurs over the course of 1 day per week. These are tailored to dog owners that want to be more active in the training. After we train your dog for the day, you will get a go home lesson, and then get to continue practicing that until the next lesson. It repeats until the course is complete.
The Board & Train happens in 5 day increments, usually Monday to Friday. It is our most popular program, as it is great to work around a planned vacation. Also, if your dog has more intensive behavioral issues that you are trying to resolve, this is most likely the one for you!
Our dog training classes are sold as a program package, so in addition to the training sessions you will also get the equipment we utilize and monthly refresher lessons to use after your pup graduates. We like to give you everything that is needed to ensure your dog reaches it’s full potential!

Many of our clients come to us with training goals to correct a certain behavior or a range of behaviors, and we can help with both. For example, we have helped German Shepherds with aggression as well as doodles with separation anxiety & barking.
An integral part of our process is simply patience & observation! By giving dogs time and watching them carefully we are able to glean triggers to the behaviors as well as formulate which methods to use to help correct them.
We understand if you are hesitant to jump into training, so we instead encourage you to sign on for a free training consultation so you can meet us and make sure we are the best fit possible for your training journey.

I was surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes growing up on my grandparent’s farm. From the playful puppies to the wise old horses, they became my constant companions. It was there that I discovered my passion for training and understanding our furry friends.
Now, as an Assistant Trainer at Sit Means Sit, I have the opportunity to share this passion with others. I believe that every dog has the potential to become a well-behaved and happy member of their family. With patience, consistency, and structure, we can unlock that and build a strong bond between pet and owner.
Whether it’s teaching basic commands or addressing behavioral issues, I am committed to helping you and your beloved companion. Together, we will embark on a journey of learning and growth, paving the way towards creating a well-mannered and joyful four-legged family member.
Zeus, my furry companion, entered my life in 2021. Since then, every day has been an exciting journey filled with boundless energy and endless love. Through SMS training, we are transforming into a dynamic duo, conquering walks with grace and charm. Zeus’s exuberance knows no bounds as he fearlessly approaches new friends, his wagging tail, a testament to his friendly nature. Together, we relish the joy of spending time with our expanding family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
With Sit Means Sit by your side, success is within reach, and I can’t wait to help your family next!

I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. They’ve been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. My real journey into dog training began when I had to work with my own reactive dog-an experience that challenged me, taught me so much, and sparked a serious passion for training.
Today, I live with four wonderful dogs: a Doberman and three Chihuahuas who are truly like my children. They keep life fun and full of love! When I’m not working with dogs, you’ll find me reading, hiking, or painting-anything that lets me be creative and enjoy the little things.
Now, as an assistant dog trainer, I’m dedicated to helping others build strong, positive relationships with their dogs. I’m excited to work with you and your pup, helping them reach their full potential. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your training journey!
The Canine Good Citizen program is a set of guidelines and regulations for standardizing dog training set forth by the American Kennel Club. It can act as proof for some locations to show that your dog is behaved and can enter a place that they do not always allow dogs.
While we do not offer Canine Good Citizen certification, we can help you get all of the dog training skills to set you up for successful completion of it!

We were amazed, week after week, how much our pups were learning and how well behaved they are. Just five minutes into their first training and they were catching on to commands. We are thankful to Adam and his team for their hard work with our dogs and for teaching our family. 10/10 recommend!
