What to Expect from Our Dog Training Classes

While our main focus is on obedience training, we are also great at tailoring dog training classes to meet your individual needs. We have worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, dispositions, and ages, our main goal is to get the full potential out of each dog we train and show owners how to ensure it persists for the years to come. Every time you pick your pup up from training with us you will get a go-home lesson, so we always teach you how to upkeep the training.

In addition, after you complete the initial training classes, our training programs also includes training tools and refreshers as a way to ensure continued success after your pup graduates. Your success is a success story for us too, so we take pride in our results!

One-on-One Dog Training and Our Basic Obedience Training Why We Utilize It Instead of Group Classes

We are sure you have noticed this too- all dogs are different! And while group training classes can provide some socialization for pups, we have found that giving each dog the direct attention and direction it needs in the form of private lessons to be much more effective end results (and happier clients!).

If you are concerned about socialization, have no fear here, as we like to work our dogs around other dogs and people to ensure they are well rounded no matter the situation!

Mckenzie McCarty

Trainer

I was surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes growing up on my grandparent’s farm. From the playful puppies to the wise old horses, they became my constant companions. It was there that I discovered my passion for training and understanding our furry friends.

Now, as an Assistant Trainer at Sit Means Sit, I have the opportunity to share this passion with others. I believe that every dog has the potential to become a well-behaved and happy member of their family. With patience, consistency, and structure, we can unlock that and build a strong bond between pet and owner.

Whether it’s teaching basic commands or addressing behavioral issues, I am committed to helping you and your beloved companion. Together, we will embark on a journey of learning and growth, paving the way towards creating a well-mannered and joyful four-legged family member.

Zeus, my furry companion, entered my life in 2021. Since then, every day has been an exciting journey filled with boundless energy and endless love. Through SMS training, we are transforming into a dynamic duo, conquering walks with grace and charm. Zeus’s exuberance knows no bounds as he fearlessly approaches new friends, his wagging tail, a testament to his friendly nature. Together, we relish the joy of spending time with our expanding family, creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

With Sit Means Sit by your side, success is within reach, and I can’t wait to help your family next!

Victoria Muñoz

Trainer

I’ve always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. They’ve been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. My real journey into dog training began when I had to work with my own reactive dog-an experience that challenged me, taught me so much, and sparked a serious passion for training.

Today, I live with four wonderful dogs: a Doberman and three Chihuahuas who are truly like my children. They keep life fun and full of love! When I’m not working with dogs, you’ll find me reading, hiking, or painting-anything that lets me be creative and enjoy the little things.

Now, as an assistant dog trainer, I’m dedicated to helping others build strong, positive relationships with their dogs. I’m excited to work with you and your pup, helping them reach their full potential. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your training journey!

Starting Good Habits Early

Whether you are first time puppy owner or a veteran of the process, we are are a great option to start your puppy training! We can start training pups at around 8 weeks of age, but that does not mean you can’t start the groundwork at home if your pup isn’t quite there yet.

Having a schedule is a great place to start, as it will get your pup in a rhythm and set them up for success down the road. Do not expect loose leash walking right from the start, start small and go forward with lots of patience and practice.

Another great thing to start is positive reinforcement, every dog likes to be a ‘good boy’ so let them know when they do good and encourage more good to come.

Start Your Dog’s Training Journey Today

Your dog is a part of your family, so selecting the right trainer and program is such an important decision! We like to think that training your dog is similar to you or I going to school or university, which means you should visit the location and meet the trainers/teachers. We know that our dog training programs are excellent, with great reviews to back us up, but we want you to come and see for yourself before deciding.

We will start your dog training journey with a free training consultation at our Rogers, AR facility, so you can meet our trainers and experience our facility before delving into training.

We were amazed, week after week, how much our pups were learning and how well behaved they are. Just five minutes into their first training and they were catching on to commands. We are thankful to Adam and his team for their hard work with our dogs and for teaching our family. 10/10 recommend!
